UPDATE: Humboldt police issue attempted murder warrant
UPDATE: Officers tell us Michael Blane Peoples Jr. is in jail already at the Gibson County Correctional facility on unrelated charges out of Milan, Tennessee. HUMBOLDT, Tenn. — Police have issued a warrant for attempted murder stemming from a shooting in January. Michael Blane Peoples Jr., 21, has been charged with Attempted First Degree Murder and Humboldt police are asking for the public’s help to find him. The shooting happened on South 7th Street in Humboldt on Jan. 7. Peoples’ last known residence was in Martin. Anyone having information about his location is asked to call the Humboldt Police Department at 731-784-1322.
