Hand fishing tournament coming to West Tennessee

RAMER, Tenn. — A tournament for a rather interesting sport is coming to West Tennessee this weekend. A hand fishing tournament, also commonly referred to as noodling, is happening across the south this Saturday. The event is hosted by HB Outfitters and River Cats Noodling. Members say the tournament is a no kill, open water tournament that is open to fishers in Arkansas, Mississippi and Tennessee. First place winners are eligible for a $500 prize. The fish will be put back in the water after the tournament. To register for the tournament, contact HB Outfitters.
