SOUTH JACKSON — The University of Tennessee Institute of Agriculture is hosting the 25th Annual Summer Celebration Lawn and Garden Show on Thursday. “We’re incorporating thousands of bottles into our display gardens this year,” said Ginger Rowsey, the Institute’s Communications Specialist. “It goes along with our theme, recognizing our southern spirit, so that’s one thing people can see, an amazing bottle collection.” Coordinators say the event will be at the UT Gardens Jackson. The show starts at 9 a.m. and lasts until 6 p.m. The event will feature garden tools, garden talks, demonstrations, plant sales and a one-of-a-kind display. Coordinators say there will be a bottle guessing contest, where participants have to guess the number of bottles at the site. The person who guesses closest to the correct number wins a bottle tree.
