West TN Storm Damage Reports-7/14/14
Damage reports from lines of storms that moved through West Tennessee 7/14/14. (Reports provided by county Emergency Management Agency directors.) MADISON COUNTY- Some scattered flooding issues across the county. Some trees and power lines reported down. No major damage. BENTON COUNTY- Some trees and power lines down. No major damage reported. CARROLL COUNTY- Report of tree falling onto house. No major damage or injuries. Trees reported down along Highway 70 between Huntingdon and Jackson. Power lines reported down along Highway 70 and Highway 77. CHESTER COUNTY- No reports of damage. CROCKETT COUNTY- No damage reported. DECATUR COUNTY- No report. DYER COUNTY- No reports of damage. GIBSON COUNTY- No damage reported. HARDEMAN COUNTY- A few trees reported down along state highways. TDOT crews working to remove them. Other trees reported down in private yards. HARDIN COUNTY- Minor flooding reported in downtown Savannah with stalled cars. HAYWOOD COUNTY- No report. HENDERSON COUNTY- Some trees reported down on McHaney Mill Road, Highway 200, Stray Leaf Road. One home on Flake Cemetery Road was hit by lightning. No major damage and no injuries. HENRY COUNTY- No damage McNAIRY COUNTY- No report OBION COUNTY- No damage reported. WEAKLEY COUNTY- No damage reported
