Sat., May 2, 2015 Free Community Event Tailgates and Pre-race Entertainment on The Dixie Lawn at 3:00 p.m. Doors open at 4:30 p.m. T.V. Coverage Begins at 5:00 p.m. Fund raising opportunities will be available to help support The Dixie‘s upcoming 2015-2016 Season. Sport your Derby attire for a fun-filled afternoon that begins with live music on the side lawn of The Dixie during pre-race tailgates. Contact The Dixie about hosting your own party where you invite your friends, decorate your themed tent, and provide traditional Kentucky Derby fare. Then, experience a broadcast of the greatest two minutes in sports on The Dixie screen. Awards presented for Best Hat, Best Derby Attire, and Best Tailgate.
