Featuring: Motown in Motion
Presented by: Eisenhower Dance Sat., Mar. 7, 2015 at 7:30 p.m. $15/person* Hailing from the Motor City and considered one of the nation‘s premier contemporary dance companies, ED will present a visual salute to the tunes that made Motown Records famous. Dance vignettes will be performed to hits from the Temptations, Marvin Gaye, Smokey Robinson, The Miracles and Michael Jackson, and others. This fast paced production strikes a nice balance between hip fun and serious dance. This performance and residency activities are funded in part by the Dance Touring Initiative grant provided by South Arts in partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts.
