Mostly Cloudy And Somewhat Mild

Weather Update: Thursday, January 21 —

Scattered Showers will continue decreasing through late morning. We will still end up with a fair day with temperatures climbing back through the lower 50s. Clouds however will stick around, WSW flow ahead of a cold front will keep temps relatively mild. The front is forecast to pass through during the afternoon. It will be a dry passage and not immediately noticeable. Later tonight however as high pressure builds in and skies clear partially expect temps to fall back into the low to mid 30s. The same high pressure will hold temps back a touch through the remainder of this week. I am still watching the evolution of the next system that will affect West Tennessee by the end of the weekend which promises to bring rain, and perhaps plenty of it into next week. There could even be a few thunderstorms embedded as temps climb towards the middle 60s.
