5 deaths, 13 new cases of COVID-19 confirmed in Madison Co.

JACKSON, Tenn. — The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department has confirmed five more Madison County residents have died due to COVID-19 complications.

Coronavirus

Those residents are:

  • an 89-year-old man, who died Nov. 26, 2020
  • a 46-year-old man, who died Nov. 27, 2020
  • a 71-year-old man, who died Dec. 6, 2020
  • a 92-year-old woman, who died Dec. 11, 2020
  • a 73-year-old woman, who died Jan. 23

A total of 208 Madison County residents have died due to COVID-19 complications.

The health department also confirmed another 13 new cases of COVID-19 in Madison County, bringing the total number of confirmed positive cases to 11,002.

Those new cases range in age from 4-years-old to 68-years-old.

There are currently three Madison County residents hospitalized, with one of those patients on a ventilator.

The health department also released statistics on patients, including zip code, race, gender, age and their health statuses.
