Light Rain Showers This Evening, Sunny but Cool Finish to the Work Week
Tuesday Night Forecast Update
Tuesday Night Forecast for May 11th:
Rain showers will continue to move out to the east tonight and should quit between 11PM and midnight across West Tennessee. Northerly flow will keep the cooler weather around until the weekend but will also keep the rain and storms away. We should see plenty of sunshine and dry weather until the weekend. We could see 4-5 dry days in a row across the region.. Catch the latest details and your full forecast right here.

TONIGHT:
Mostly cloudy skies are expected tonight and a few sprinkles could linger overnight and plenty of clouds will stick around as the night goes on. The clouds will keep most of us out of the 40s with overnight lows dropping down to around 50° for most of the region. Winds will stay light out of the north.
WEDNESDAY:
A few overnight showers from Tuesday could linger into the early morning hours on Wednesday but most of us will be dry after the sun comes up. We should see some sunshine in the afternoon and evening but the winds will continue to come out of the north keeping temperatures down. Highs will only reach the mid 60s again on Wednesday and lows will drop into the mid 40s by Thursday morning.
THURSDAY/FRIDAY:
The sun will dominate on both Thursday and Friday but with the winds continuing to come out of the north, highs will only reach the upper 60s on Thursday and the low 70s on Friday. Winds will start to shift finally late in the day on Friday back to the south starting a warming trend into the weekend. Both days we are expecting to stay rain or storm free.
THE WEEKEND:
Warmer weather and more humidity will move back in for the weekend as the winds will start to come out of the south again. This will warm us up into the upper 70s on Saturday and low 80s on Sunday. Although severe weather or a big storm event is NOT likely this weekend, we could see a few showers or pop up storms due to the southerly flow returning to the area.
