National Guardsman to become brigadier general

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) – Col. Mark Hart of Louisville, Tennessee, is being promoted to brigadier general.

According to the Tennessee National Guard, ceremonies will be held on Friday at the McGhee-Tyson Armed Forces Club in Louisville.

Hart will report directly to Maj. Gen. Terry M. Haston, Tennessee’s adjutant general.

Hart will be responsible for the staffing, training, equipping, welfare and readiness posture for all Tennessee Army National Guard units.

His previous assignments include land component commander and commander of the 230th Sustainment Brigade in Chattanooga.
