The Discovery Park of America announced the theme for this year’s Pumpkin Village will be “Once Upon a Pumpkin.”

“Of course, we love keeping Discovery Park looking beautiful all year round, but Pumpkin Village is a fun opportunity for us to get really creative,” said John Watkins, Discovery Park’s director of grounds and landscaping.

Guests can walk through the village and be enchanted by scenes from classic fairy tales such as “Jack and the Beanstalk” or “Goldilocks and the Three Bears,” all created from more than 40,000 pounds of pumpkins.

And don’t forget to get lost in the Pumpkin Maze, also returning this year.

“Once Upon a Pumpkin” is free with museum admission.

The display will be open during regular museum hours in October, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Monday and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
