Storytelling event set in East Tennessee for fundraiser
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) – Storytellers will gather in East Tennessee next month for a fundraiser event.
Several members of the National Storytelling Network in Jonesborough, the Volunteer State Tellers in Nashville and Smoky Mountain Storytellers Association in Knoxville will perform.
The event is set for 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. EDT April 11 at Marble Springs State Historic Site in Knoxville.
The event is a fundraiser for Smoky Mountain Storytellers Association.
Storytellers expected to perform include Shirley Nicholson, Kathleen Mavournin, Cuz Headrick, Sheri Liles and Jennifer Alldredge.
