Police say man died of heart attack while working on roof

MIDTOWN JACKSON — A man lying on the roof of a home along Westwood Avenue Tuesday afternoon had passers-by calling 911. Police say the homeowner was painting on the roof when it appears he suffered a heart attack and passed away. The house is located across the street from Tigrett Middle School. Police say they found nothing suspicious but that the coroner will determine a cause of death.
