WEST MADISON COUNTY, Tenn.-If you have areas in your neighborhood that are constantly flooding, we have a way to get help. About a dozen people attended this mitigation meeting Wednesday afternoon. The Madison County Emergency Management Director said they need help identifying weakness areas for flooding as well as hazard areas,

so when flooding occurs crews can prevent problems from getting worse. Organizers said in order to help, they need to hear from you. “Go back and think about their area their risk their vulnerabilities that they have and then what would also effect their community or their families and everything and then come to our next meeting and let us know,” said Marty Clements, director of the Jackson-Madison County EMA.
