Man facing harassment charge accused of sending ex-wife unwanted texts

DOWNTOWN JACKSON — A Jackson man appeared in city court Monday on accusations of harassing his ex-wife via text messages. Ryan Christopher Goff is accused of sending the woman texts after she had asked him to stop, according to court papers. The ex-wife told officers May 25 that Goff had sent her more than 20 texts and continued texting her after she told him not to. She told police Goff was angry because she had moved in with her new boyfriend. Goff is charged with harassment. He is free on a $1,000 bond.
