DOWNTOWN JACKSON — A woman went before a judge Thursday after police say she refused to cooperate during her arrest on a domestic assault charge. Police responded around 1:30 p.m. Wednesday to a domestic disturbance at a Crescent Avenue apartment where they determined Precious Robinson was the primary aggressor, according to an affidavit. As officers attempted to arrest Robinson, they say she kept pulling away and had to be wrestled to the ground and then began clawing and pinching an officer’s leg, the document states. When taken to the Criminal Justice Complex, Robinson refused to go inside and had to be forcefully escorted into the booking area, according to the affidavit. Robinson is charged with evading arrest, resisting arrest, simple assault and simple domestic assault.
