Henry Co. deputies make one of county’s largest drug busts

HENRY COUNTY, Tenn. — Deputies make one of the largest drug busts ever in Henry County, landing three people behind bars. The Henry County Metro Crime Unit arrested the three suspects shortly after 12 a.m. Monday during a traffic stop, seizing more than $20,000 worth of drugs. Officers believe the suspects were smuggling the drugs into the county. Officials say they found more than 7 ounces of meth and ice methamphetamine. One of the suspects has posted bail and the other two are still in custody. The investigation is ongoing.
