Search Continues for Jordan
The Jackson man accused of trying to run over a police officer early Wednesday morning remains on the run. Gary Allen Jordan, 33, is wanted on a count of aggravated assault, as well as outstanding warrants on drug, weapons and evading arrest charges. Officers said as they tried to stop Jordan for running a stop sign on Lane Avenue he led police on a high speed chase before crashing. As an officer approached the car, Jordan is accused of hitting the accelerator. Jordan was last seen running into Kate Campbell Robertson Park.
