Goodwill Celebrates Success, Gives Rewards

The ‘goodwill’ of many across West Tennessee was honored, Tuesday night. Goodwill Industries of West Tennessee held their annual awards dinner at the Doubletree Hotel. Leaders said they hold the dinner each year to shine a light on the actions of honored clients and employees at its West Tennessee centers. The mission of Goodwill’s career solutions center is putting people to work pays dividends. “It’s important to us, it’s important to our employees,” said David Lifsey, president and CEO of Goodwill. “It gives us a chance to get back together all at one time and remember why we are in business and that is for our mission and to provide employment and training for people who need our services and count on us to provide those services.” Also honored Tuesday night with the 110 percent award was Caltera Lyons.
