USPS to Host Passport Day

If you have been saying to yourself, “I need to get a passport”, then Saturday is the day to do it. As part of Passport Day, the main post office in downtown Jackson is holding a special event from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m., where you can get your passport photo made, a service that is usually only offered week days. To get a passport, you must submit an application, photos, your original birth certificate and a copy of the back and front of your driver’s license. The cost of getting a passport is around $150.
