Woman Arrested After Altercation With Neighbor
Investigators with the Chester County Sheriff’s Department said their offiers have been out to the Saylor and Pickett homes on State Highway 200 12 times in the past few years to investigate complaints against one another. The latest visit from the law Sunday landed Terry Saylor in Jail. “A video of her yelling and saying obscenities to my mother and throwing trash over the fence and the next thing you know the police are in the driveway and my mother is in handcuffs,”said Michael Saylor. Micheal Saylor said video taken from the incident Sunday led to the arrest of Terry Saylor. Pickett snapped a photo of her, called police and Saylor was arrested for criminal Trespassing. “She needs to move back to Illinois. I mean she has no reason to stay down here,” said Carla Pickett, a Chester County resident. Michael Saylor claims that Carla Pickett poisoned his dog to death, throws garbage on the Saylor property, put holes in their pool and she yells obscenities at his family. Pickett strongly denies doing any of these things. “It’s like they watch for me to come home so they can start,” Pickett said. Pickett sais that the Saylor’s poisoned her grass and bushes. The Saylor’s strongly deny the claim. How did this feud get started? Saylor said, “She asked to borrow my mother’s hose and my mother told her she couldn’t borrow her hose and Carla didn’t like that my mother told her no,” said Micheal Saylor. Good fences make good neighbors is a proverb from the mid-17th century. In the case of neighbors in Chester County fences apparently do not stop the hatred. If you are wondering how this feud in Chester County might end, the Saylor family has put their house up for sale. “I would pack up and just leave because it’s a nightmare. I hate waking up here in the morning I hate coming outside,” said Miachel Saylor.
