Child Caught on Tape Robbing Gas Station
Huntingdon Police are searching for a man they believe is using his children to help him rob convenience stores. Surveillance video was taken at a Shell station in Huntingdon where you can see the man come in with two boys around ages 10 and 5. The older of the two went to the back of the store and took about 100 dollars in cash while the man believed to be their father stood as a look-out. A woman who works at the store told police that earlier in the day she caught the same boy in the office. When she asked what he was doing, he told her he was just looking for a bathroom. Police say if the man is caught he could be charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor. “He just went through the drawers and didn’t fumble or nothing. He looked like a pro. He looked like most adults that we’ve had that we’ve seen on video doing the same thing,” said Sgt. Joey Hedge. Police are looking for a heavy-set white male with a goatee traveling with two male children. They are believed to be traveling in a maroon mini-van. If you have any information on where officers can find them contact the Huntingdon Police Department at (731) 986-5310.
