Hardin Co.Middle School Flooded after Water Main Break
Students at Hardin County Middle School got the day off from school, Friday all because of a major water line break. The utility director said up to 200,000 gallons of water flooded the middle school overnight, resulting in damage costs estimated at between $100,000 and $200,000. School officials told 7 Eyewitness News the break happened in a 3-inch water line in the ceiling near the cafeteria and was not discovered until early Friday morning. District leaders said they should know by Noon Sunday if Hardin County Middle School will be open on Monday.
