Possible Marijuana Bust in Grand Junction

Officers found what they believe to be marijuana during a routine traffic stop in Hardeman County, Friday. According to the Grand Junction Police Department, officer pulled over Quentin Patterson, 23. Investigators said they noticed a strong odor of burned marijuana coming from inside the vehicle. When asked if he had any marijuana on him, officers said Patterson admitted he had just finished smoking a joint. During the stop, officers said they found two large bags containing about 2 pounds and 4 ounces of a green, leafy substance. The evidence has been submitted to the TBI Crime Laboratory for positive identification. Patterson faces charges of driving without a license, driving without headlights, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
