Pinson Mounds Cuts Ribbon on New Trail

Pinson, Tenn. – City leaders and park officials gathered today to celebrate the opening of a new trail at Pinson Mounds State Park. At a ribbon cutting ceremony, Thursday, a new paved trail was opened as part of the recreational trail project. The new trail is five miles long and goes through all the scenic areas of the mounds. Officials say the trails at the park offer visitors a way to enjoy nature and see the sights while staying active.
