Man Surrenders to Police

Jackson police said the man wanted in connection with a Tuesday morning assault in the parking lot of a city pool hall, surrendered to police, Wednesday morning. 30-year-old Tyler Williams was wanted on charges of aggravated assault and leaving the scene of an accident. Police said he is responsible for breaking a Ramer man’s leg and ribs, early Tuesday morning when he pinned the 38-year-old between his SUV and a utility pole in the parking lot of Breakers pool hall. Williams’ wife, Kristen was thrown form the vehicle during the crash. She was arrested for assaulting an officer and public intoxication. Officers are also holding her on charges from giving false testimony during a trial last May.
