County Health Rankings Released

An annual survey released Wednesday said several West Tennessee counties are some of the unhealthiest in the state. Hardeman, Benton, Carroll and Decatur counties are just a few of those ranked as some of the unhealthiest. According to a survey released by the Robert Wood Johnson foundation and the University of Wisconsin’s population health institute. Criteria for the rankings were based on the rate of people dying before age 75, the percentage of people in fair or poor health and the rate of low birth-weight infants.
