Holly Bobo’s Family and Church Go Pink

First Corinth Baptist Church of Darden members wore pink, Sunday, in honor of the Parsons nursing student, Holly Bobo, who went missing April 13, 2010. “We thank God we have them here for us,” said Dana Bobo, Holly’s father. Bobo attended the service along with his wife and son, the last person authorities said saw Holly alive. Bobo said the continued support from the community is overwhelming. “There making us get through these hard times.” Bobo said he hopes the increase in the reward for information leading to the safe return of is daughter will bring viable leads to investigators. “Somebody here knows where she is,” he said. Holly’s 6-year old cousin said he misses her dearly. “She used to play with me,” said Cohen Tuten, Holly’s cousin. He said he misses the days Holly would play games with him. Bobo said his family’s “normal” has been redefined. Everyday that goes by it’s all about Holly and getting her back,” he said. Bobo said support from the community which includes event such as organized by their home church, Sunday, makes life bearable. “It’s been the hardest thing that anybody could ever go through….(to) have a child missing,” he said.
