Search for Suspected Armed Robber in South Madison County
Two neighbors who tried to prevent a burglary ended up being victims of crime themselves Friday morning in South Madison County. Just after 10:30, two residents who live on Gobelett Road went to check on their neighbors house when they saw a strange car there. They were confronted by a man who was attempting to break into the house and then were robbed of their wallets at gunpoint. The suspect is describe as a black man, 6 feet tall, with a thin build and short hair. He was wearing blue jean shorts and a white top.
