Lynch Charged with Theft in Union City

The Union City Wendy’s manager who went missing early last week after his shift has been returned to Obion County. Authorities said Michael Lynch, 22, was found and arrested early Saturday morning in Murfreesboro. Lynch is now in the Obion County Jail charged with theft over $1,000. He is set to be arraigned Monday afternoon. Investigators said Lynch went missing following his shift, Tuesday. The bank deposit also went missing from the store. Jessica Lynch, Michael’s wife, told 7 Eyewitness News that she was shocked when she heard the news, but was glad he was found safe. She said she asked her husband why he disappeared and he did not have a response.
