Authorities Surround Home; Suspect Not There

US Marshals thought they had a man wanted by Jackson police cornered in west Madison County, Wednesday. Marshals, along with Madison County deputies and Jackson police officers surrounded a home in the 500 block of Cerro Gordo Road throughout the afternoon. A tip led Marshals to the house as they search for Monterrius Miller, 19, of Jackson. Miller is wanted on aggravated kidnapping and aggravated robbery charges in connection with a March incident where a man was kidnapped, pistol whipped and robbed inside his apartment on Lambuth Boulevard. He is also wanted for violating his probation for an aggravated burglary in 2011.
