Habitat for Humanity Holds Golf Event

JACKSON, Tenn.- An organization that helps those who have trouble with financing to build a house, is getting some help of its own. Golfers turned out at Jackson National Golf Course, Monday to help Habitat for Humanity raise funds. Around 50 golfers teed off in a shotgun start , aiming for the best score, Monday afternoon. Organizers said the housing ministry seeks to eliminate poverty housing and make decent shelter a matter of conscience and action, built with volunteer labor and donations through local partners. Those taking part said they enjoyed the day and are happy to help the organization raise funds.
