Deputies Investigating Early Morning Homicide at Nightclub
PARIS, Tenn. – Henry County sheriff‘s deputies are looking for two men allegedly involved in a fatal shooting at a Paris nightclub early Saturday morning. The shooting happened at Fahrenheit 101 at around 2:40 a.m. Saturday, after a fistfight broke out inside the club. Sheriff Monte Belew told 7 Eyewitness News they believe Tevin ‘Jay‘ Lumpkin, 20, of Milan, pulled out a handgun, and fired several rounds, some hitting 41-year-old Eric Kinley, of Paris, who died at the scene. Lumpkin is known to wear dread locks and is 6‘1″ and weights 170 lbs. He was last possibly seen in an older model White Bonneville with black hub caps. He is wanted to first degree murder. Deputies said they are also looking for Charles Liphford, 22, from Milan. Liphford is wanted for weapons violations and investigators believe he displayed a handgun during the incident. They said both men are considered armed and dangerous. A reward is being offered by the Henry County Sheriff‘s Office of $1,000 for Lumpkin‘s whereabouts.
