Police Investigating East Jackson Shooting

JACKSON, Tenn. – Police are investigating a shooting in East Jackson that sent a man to the hospital. Investigators told 7 Eyewitness News they were called out to Lincoln Courts around 9 p.m. Saturday night. They said a male was shot, and is suffering severe chest injuries. At last check, he was undergoing surgery at the Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. Police said they have no suspects at this time. 7 Eyewitness News is following this story, and will post more information as it becomes available.
