Suspect in Lincoln Courts Shooting Arraigned

JACKSON, Tenn.- An attempted murder suspect was in court, Wednesday morning. Brandon Currie, 31, was charged with attempted first degree murder in connection with a shooting Saturday night. Investigators said the shooting was in Lincoln Courts and that Currie got out of a vehicle and fired five or six shots at the victim, hitting him twice. The victim underwent surgery for his wounds and is still in the hospital recovering. Currie was being held on a $200,000 bond and will return to court September 6.
