JACKSON, Tenn.- Hundreds of thousands of people in Southern Louisiana and Mississippi are without power, but hopefully not for long. 7 Eyewitness News spotted several utility trucks in north Jackson early Thursday afternoon. More than a dozen crew members from Lexington, Kentucky stopped in Jackson to eat as they headed to southern Louisiana. Here in West Tennessee, more than 40 line workers will join them in Baton Rouge, including six workers from Southwest Tennessee Electric in Brownsville.
