TBI Investigator Arrested during Holiday Weekend

JACKSON, Tenn. – An investigator with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation was arrested on a charge of being drunk in public. According to a news release, the Madison County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call of a vehicle off the roadway on Highway 45 East near Medina, Sunday morning around 12:30 a.m. While deputies investigated the incident, Heidi Arlene White, who was a passenger in the car, was arrested for being Public Drunk. She was released from the Madison County Jail after posting $250.00 bond. White is employed as a Special Agent Criminal Investigator by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and was hired in January 2011. A spokesperson for the TBI said her employment is being terminated.
