Railroad Repairs Set for This Weekend

JACKSON, Tenn.- Here is a traffic alert if you travel Highway 45 ByPass in Jackson. There will be some lane closures at a railroad crossing for a couple of weekends. The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) said one southbound lane at the railroad crossing between State Street and South Highland Avenue will close Friday beginning at 8 p.m. and will remain closed until Monday at 5 a.m. Then on September 13, one north bound lane will be closed from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. and then it will close again on September 14 at 8 p.m. until Monday, September 17 at 5 a.m.
