Woman Killed in Chester County Crash

HENDERSON, Tenn.- A wreck Thursday morning in the city of Henderson claimed the life of a Lexington woman. Police said they have determined Carla Stephen, 52 failed to stop at the stop sign at the intersection of Main Street and the Highway 100 By-Pass. Her Ford Taurus was hit on the driver’s side by a Mack truck carrying grain. The wreck happened just before 7:30 a.m. Officers said Stephen was taken by ambulance to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead.
