Preliminary Hearing for Man Who Just Wanted to Shoot Someone

ATHENS, Ala.- A Whiteville, Tenn. man jailed in Athens, Ala., accused of telling police he just wanted to shoot someone, appeared in court. But Noah McGlawn’s appearance did not go as planned. A judge postponed his preliminary hearing on a charge of attempted murder to October. McGlawn turned himself in last week after police said he shot a motorcyclist. He told police he was angry at his father and drove around eventually taking aim at a man on a motorcycle, hitting him in the arm and back. McGlawn remains jailed without bond.
