Police Investigating West Jackson Shooting

JACKSON, Tenn. – Jackson police are investigating a shooting in the western part of the Hub City. Police said they got calls about several shots fired in the area Camelot Cove around 12:30 a.m. Saturday. They said a man was shot in the leg and took himself to the hospital. He reportedly told police he was hanging out with a group of people he did not know. Another group of strangers approached them. According to police, a fight broke out, and several shots were fired. Investigators said they found three shell casings at the scene. No arrests have been made. The shooting is still under investigation.
