Five Sex Offenders Arrested for Non-Compliance

BROWNSVILLE, Tenn. – Five men were jailed in Haywood County accused of violating the sex offender registry. According to the Brownsville Police Department, they along with the Tennessee Board of Probation and Parole conducted a sex offender compliance check, Monday. Six offenders out of 27 sex offenders that were checked were found to not be in compliance with state law. Five of the six were arrested and charged with being in violation of the sex offender registry. They were: Tony Hammond, of Brownsville TN, age 28 James Morton, of Brownsville TN, age 47 Charles Edward Perry, of Brownsville TN, age 38 Michael Green, of Brownsville TN, age 34 William Anthony Jeter, of Brownsville TN, age 39
