THP Releases Details on I-40 Crash

JACKSON, Tenn.- The THP released its final report in last month’s deadly six-car pile-up on Interstate 40 in Henderson County. Investigators determined the initial collision occurred when the driver of a Volkswagen Golf was merging into another lane and a semi, right behind it clipped its left rear side, causing it to spin out of control. Both cars in front and behind them were caught in the crash. The driver and the passenger of the semi, Dennis Clow, 60, and Monica Clow, 57, of Texarkana, Texas died in the crash. Two others were injured.
