Karma Murder Suspect Returns to Face Charges

JACKSON, Tenn.- The man charged in a mass club shooting earlier this year in downtown Jackson has been brought back to face charges. Travis Steed arrived back in Jackson, Friday afternoon. He is charged in the shooting inside the Karma Lounge where one man was killed and 19 people were injured. Back in March, he was indicted by a Madison County grand jury. The six count indictment included charges of first degree murder and attempted first degree murder. Steed is serving a 12-year prison sentence for convictions of cocaine possession and reckless endangerment with a deadly weapon. He is set to be arraigned on the murder charge in Madison County Circuit Court, Monday.
