South Elementary Teachers Given Walmart Gift Cards

MADISON COUNTY, Tenn.- Teachers at a South Madison County Madison County School are getting a little extra help. 20 teachers at South Elementary were given $50 teacher reward cards, Friday. The extra cash to be used by teachers to purchase classroom supplies was presented by representatives from Walmart South. Surveys showed most U.S. teachers spend their own money to ensure they extra supplies to teach their students. “Teachers are always using their own money for various supplies and this will really help our school and our children,” said Kim Teague, a teacher at South Elementary School. Walmart present the rewards to teachers on a yearly basis.
