Police: Teen Injured in West Jackson Shooting

JACKSON, Tenn. – Jackson Police are investigating a shooting in the western part of the Hub City. Police said they responded to 58 Brentwood Drive around 8:30 p.m. Friday, after they say a 16-year-old girl was shot in the leg. The victim was transported by private vehicle to the Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. Police said they believe some kind of party was going on when the teen was shot. 7 Eyewitness News will bring you more information as it becomes available.
