Man Arrested, Accused of Burglary, Arson

JACKSON, Tenn.-A Jackson man is facing charges of arson and aggravated burglary. Police said Nicholas Adam Barker, 25, charged with aggravated burglary and arson, both which happened at the same location. Barker is currently being treated at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital for injuries he received during the burglary. Investigators said the Jackson Fire Department was called to a vehicle arson fire on Coolwood Drive on August 3 and then issued a warrant for his arrest. Tuesday, officers were called to Coolwood Drive and found residents holding Barker who said he had returned to the victim’s house, forced his way in and assaulted multiple victims. He is expected to be arraigned in Jackson City Court, Thursday morning.
