LIST: Storm shelters available across West Tennessee
JACKSON, Tenn. (WBBJ) – As the second round of severe weather moves into West Tennessee Tuesday, WBBJ is compiling another list of shelters available.
Here is a list of shelters across the area. Be sure to check back for future listings as they are announced.

Crockett County
- The Alamo Storm Shelter located on Ball Park Loop will be opening at 4 p.m.

Hardin County
- Check back later for updates.

Henderson County
- The Watson Center located at 50 Natchez Trace Drive will be open beginning at 5 p.m.

Henry County
- Storm shelters will be open at Harrelson, Henry and Lakewood Schools beginning at 6 p.m., according to the Henry County Sheriff’s Office.
- The Storm Shelter at Inman School will open at 6 p.m. and will remain open until the threat has passed.

Madison County
- The Carl Perkins Civic Center will be opening at 4 p.m. again as a safe place for any who need it.

McNairy County
- The Selmer Civic Center is open as of 4 p.m. The shelter is located at 230 N 5th Street. Pets are allowed but must be in a crate.

Weakley County
- The Martin Community Safe Room located at 701 N Lindell Street is now open as of 3:22 p.m. This facility operates as a FEMA-rated F5 tornado safe room. For more details and guidelines for this shelter, click here.
- The city of Dresden Tornado Safe Room is open as of at 5:05 p.m., according to the Dresden Fire Department.
