Tipton Co. Man Charged with Killing Infant

TIPTON COUNTY, Tenn.- A Tipton County man is facing murder charges for the death of his infant stepson late last year, that according to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation. Bryan Austin Demeza, 21, of Munford was arrested and charged with one count of first degree murder and one count of aggravated child abuse, Thursday night. His arrest is for the December 2012 death of the 19-day-old baby. Investigators say Demeza told them he found the baby unresponsive while in his care and admitted to shaking, dropping and falling on the infant during the evening, before the baby’s death.
