JACKSON, Tenn– More than 20 iPads were stolen from Sacred Heart of Jesus High School in North Jackson. The iPads were stolen from a locked room on-campus and there are no signs of forced entry. School officials say replacements for the stolen iPads have already been ordered and will be available for students tomorrow. Sacred Heart provides every student with an iPad when school starts, and they are returned at the end of the year. Sacred Heart is a Catholic high school that is home to 85 students. While the school still uses text books, a great deal of the curriculum is taught with a multimedia focus. Police are urging people to let them know immediately if they are approached about buying an iPad, especially if it is not in its original packaging.
